Brabantse Kanonnes! win the final of the Epplejeck Viertallen Cup 2025

It wasn't just regular dressage at the WTC Expo. The first day of Indoor Friesland 2025 concluded with the final of the Epplejeck Four-Team Cup. The enthusiasm was high, among both the participants and the audience. Actually, participating was more important than winning this evening, but as with every final, a ranking was drawn up this night as well. De Ká nonnes ! from Heeswijk Dinther in Brabant took the lead. Second place went to TB fore gold from Ammerzoden in Gelderland, and third place was for Quatro Cavalli from Bolsward in Friesland.

Spoiled and super happy

Pim Dullemond, commander of the winning team, was stunned and laughing on the forecourt immediately after the awards ceremony: "I'm full of prizes and flowers. We were really spoiled by Epplejeck and Indoor Friesland. Incidentally, the riders were also busy."

The horses in our team are quite experienced, but this entourage was extra. Nevertheless, we managed to put in a good test, and I'm thrilled. This was partly because it was only the third time we'd ridden this freestyle.

From Brabant via the NK to Friesland

How did we, as Brabanters, end up here in Friesland? We qualified through the Dutch Championships. It was a three-and-a-half-hour drive for us, but we were happy to do it. Incidentally, only one of our foursome will be making the trip back tonight, as three will be staying overnight to participate in the Wolvega Horse Clinic Team Challenge tomorrow.

One big party

Hester van der Burgh, from sponsor Epplejeck, was very pleased and deeply impressed with the competition's success. Team spirit and riding dressage together were the common thread throughout the competition, and this was clearly evident in the final. "It was fantastic," Hester said. "You could see that everyone had put a lot of time and energy into the outfits and choreography. It was overwhelming and one big party."
