A dream comes true: Visiting the Wolvega Horse Clinic Team Challenge
What young girl doesn't have dreams? They might have dreams about their job, their hobby, their living situation, and so on. Horse girls often have even more dreams. About their own pony, their idols, their own stable... They can dream for hours. Wolvega Horse Clinic, a sponsor of Indoor Friesland, sponsored the Team Challenge, the first event on the program today, and even fielded a team. A team with three riders, all of whom teach children. Commander Kim Jacobi, in turn, arranged an outing for a few fans. They could watch the teachers and enjoy Indoor Friesland. Afterward, we spoke with a few children.
The ladies, cheeks flushed with excitement, sat down. A little shy at first, but the stories soon flowed. Reluctantly, but with smiles from ear to ear. Annabel (8), Berber (12), Jildau (8), Kyra (12), Mirre (13), and Mirte (20) answered our questions. They all live in Friesland. Mantgum, Leeuwarden, Reduzem, Sneek, Franeker, Poppenwier, and Weidem are among the places mentioned. The length of their journeys ranges from one to fourteen years.
Enjoying the teacher
We're curious, what made the ladies decide to come to Indoor Friesland? The answer is unanimous: they came especially for their teacher. "It was so beautiful," they sigh. Watching her and her horse, Utopia, at the riding school, which they all know, was something Irene and Utopia did well in everything, but the extended trot was particularly beautiful. Other impressive and impressive aspects mentioned were the calmness of the test, the assessment by an international jury, and the beautiful arena. "I want this too," one of them says, and they nod in agreement; they all want that.
Dinja and Miss Irene favorite
We'd also like to know about Indoor Friesland, their impressions, and how they like it here. It's big, impressive, beautiful, lots of glitter, neat, and professional. The answers to this question came quickly. They need to think longer about their idol, but their teacher Irene and Indoor Friesland ambassador Dinja van Liere are the clear favorites. Dinja is definitely the favorite, but why Irene? She's so kind, a great teacher, competes, and it's fun to follow her. She's incredibly driven, gives it her all, is very enthusiastic, clear, and motivated. Again, that look in their eyes and smile on their faces—teacher Irene is clearly loved by her students.
Britt Dekker and Horses2fly Wednesday
Are the ladies only at Indoor Friesland today, or will they be back? Most are returning, and the Britt Dekker shows on Tuesday and Horses2fly on Wednesday are especially popular.
Finally, we wanted to know what the ladies were thinking about when they got home tonight after this exciting, unique day. Again, there was no doubt: "Want to ride," "How beautiful Indoor Friesland was," "How well Irene was doing," and "What a great conversation this was."
The feeling is completely mutual, ladies. We really enjoyed talking to you too. Thank you for your time, enthusiasm, and candor, and we look forward to seeing you at the next Indoor Friesland event. The best thing would be to see you back in the ring, just like your teacher.
