On Saturday, October 10, Indoor Friesland will be dedicated to breeding and stallions. An afternoon and evening where sport, breeding, and networking come together, featuring young talents, established stallions, and professionals from the field.
The afternoon begins on a sporting note with the final of the CDI1* Freestyle to Music. This class serves as an important stepping stone towards the Grand Prix for young dressage horses and stallions. In the impressive arena of Indoor Friesland, they have the opportunity to gain experience in an international atmosphere, and various top dressage riders are eager to bring their young talents to the start. Moreover, for breeders, it is a wonderful opportunity to see young stallions as well as offspring of renowned sires in action in the sport. Horses that are currently at the beginning of their international careers could be the Grand Prix horses of tomorrow.
Following this, the Breeders' Café is on the program from 17:00 to 19:00. From 20:00, it is time for Night of the Stallions in the main arena.
Under the theme 'Approved… and now what', we pick up where the Breeders' Café left off last year. The stallion has been designated or approved, but what happens next? What information becomes available in the years that follow, and how can a breeder use this for their own breeding choices?
Experts from sport, breeding, the veterinary world, and various studbooks will join the table. Topics such as performance testing, health and heredity, the early years of a young stallion, the combination of top-level sport and breeding, and the choice of a studbook will be discussed. The breeding community itself will also have a voice.

From 8:00 PM, the main arena is entirely dedicated to stallions during Night of the Stallions. Established breeding stallions, sport stallions, and young talents of various breeds will showcase themselves in a varied program where breeding, sport, and show come together.
With stallions from various studbooks and disciplines, we showcase the full breadth of horse breeding. From show jumping and dressage stallions to Friesian stallions, Baroque Pintos, and carriage horses. Alongside established names, young stallions are also given ample opportunity to present themselves to the public.
For breeders, the evening offers the opportunity to see stallions in action and to meet the new generation of stallions. For riders and enthusiasts, it is a special evening that demonstrates how closely sport and breeding are intertwined.
