First at Indoor Friesland: Final of the Epplejeck Viertallen Cup 2025

Indoor Friesland and Epplejeck are joining forces this year for a brand-new competition class: the Epplejeck Four-Team Cup 2025. This competition, a combination of technically sound performance, sporting cooperation, creative choreography, and team spirit, will hold its grand finale on Friday evening, October 17, during the Indoor Friesland dressage weekend at the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden.

This new form of team sport fits perfectly with Epplejeck's vision: horseback riding as a lifestyle, accessible and contemporary. It's no wonder Epplejeck, with 22 stores in the Benelux region, is the ultimate superstore for horse and rider.

The Epplejeck Viertallen Cup is open to teams of four from classes L, M and Z, with both horses and ponies, and offers riders from the region a unique platform in a top-level sporting setting.

Participating teams can qualify via three routes:

• The 2025 Outdoor Regional Championships of Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel and North Holland.
• The top 3 of the Dutch National Dressage Teams (25 July in Ermelo).
• A special 'Last Chance' qualifying competition on Sunday, September 28th at the WB Stables in Wergea.

Happy Horse, Happy Athlete 

During the finals, the L-class teams will perform a freestyle on a 20x40-meter track, and the M and Z-class teams will compete on a 20x60-meter track. In addition to technical execution, choreography, presentation, and team image will also be judged. The team that best conveys the Happy Horse, Happy Athlete message will also be entered to win a special Epplejeck image award.

With a prize pool of one thousand euros and additional honorary prizes, this final will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the Indoor Friesland dressage weekend.
