Even though metal and horses don't have much in common, Robben Metal Recycling has a fascinating story to tell. Did you know, for example, that scrap metal is the source of valuable raw materials? And doesn't every horse owner have a lot of metal equipment in their stables and parking lot? That's why it's quite interesting to read about what Robben Metal Recycling does!

"We are one of the largest metal recycling companies in the Northern Netherlands," says Marianne Robben on behalf of Robben Metaalrecycling BV. "The processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals has grown into a professional industry with a key role in the waste material reuse chain. We recycle iron waste from metal factories, demolition projects, businesses, and private individuals. For us, scrap is the basis for valuable raw materials."

Metals containing copper, such as those used in electric motors and transformers, are shredded in our shredding line and, after a separation process, processed into clean raw materials. All other metals, such as stainless steel, aluminum, zinc, cables, and lead, are sorted, reduced in size, and shipped to processors throughout Europe, where they are reprocessed into raw materials for new products.

We also specialize in the demolition of large projects (factory sites, warehouses, and silos). This is done professionally and entirely under our own management using cranes, trucks, etc.
